The Prospect Heights Redevelopment Committee was established to provide for the redevelopment and implementation of a City Center, as well as look for other opportunities near, mid and long term redevelopment projects. They are to provide for an exchange of ideas between City residents, the elected leadership and the City Staff of what should be the vision of any redevelopment initiative. They are to develop and execute distribution of necessary educational materials to the residents regarding any initiatives, act as a contact point for developers interested in participating in any initiatives, and report to the community and the elected officials of activities and opportunities. The Council is designed to make recommendations only, and report back to the Council.
Residents of Prospect Heights have the opportunity to serve on a number of boards or commissions that represent the city. Residents that are interested on serving on a committee should contact City Hall and complete a volunteer application.
