The City of Prospect Heights has one red light enforcement camera at the following location:
- Southbound Milwaukee Avenue and Eastbound Palatine Frontage Road
The fine for a red light enforcement camera citation is $100.
Paying for red light enforcement camera citations
Payment for red light citations is not accepted at City Hall or the Police Department. Individuals who receive a citation are required to adhere to the procedures detailed on the citation to either remit payment or contest the citation within thirty days of issuance. Contestations may be submitted online or in person during hearings that are conducted on the third Wednesday of each month at City Hall in Prospect Heights. The violation notice provided includes the citation number and a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that can be utilized to access and review further information online at https://secure.redlightviolations.com/.
