The Prospect Heights Lending Closet provides Prospect Heights residents with an alternative to purchasing expensive medical equipment for a temporary disability. The Lending Closet is open to Prospect Heights residents only. There is no age requirement and the maximum lending period for equipment is 90 days. Extensions may be requested.
Types of Equipment
The Lending Closet relies upon equipment donations, so a very limited assortment of equipment is maintained. Some available items may include:
- Canes
- Crutches
- Shower Benches
- Walkers
- Wheelchairs
Equipment lending is on a first-come, first-served bases. Questions can be directed to City Hall at 847-398-6070.
